How Dry Cleaning Equipment New York Works

By Jaclyn Hurley

Cleanliness is next to holiness. One of the ways of being clean is by wearing clothes that are free of dirt. People will tend to appreciate and associate with a clean person better than a dirty one. Dirty fabrics can be cleared of dirt using liquid or solid soaps. Dissolving solutions can be used with dry cleaning equipment new york to clean dirty fabrics. Solid soaps are mostly used in hand washing and cleansing the body.

Dry cleaning machines are a combination of several parts. Each of these has a function to play in ensuring the clothes are thoroughly clean. Recent machines have combined both the washing and drying functions. This helps to save time and solvents used.

A metallic compartment which has been punched many times is the main part of the dry cleaning machine. It is connected to an electric motor which can make a certain number of cycles per minute depending on the settings installed. When the punched container moves in circular motion, clothes rub against each other leading to friction which removes dirt. This also helps in the penetration of dissolving solution into the clothes.

The solvent is removed from the laundry by clean water which is pumped into the cylinder with holes. This water is then sucked out and directed into separators that sort the water from the detergent. Solvent is reused to clean other clothes. The water is directed into the sewage system. Recycling of solvent reduces wastage of resources and preserves the natural environment by reducing pollution levels.

A high speed spinning action is initiated after rinsing. This drains as much water as possible from the clothes. The spinning action lasts for a while which has been set by the manufacturer. At the end of this cycle, the clothes will be wet but not dripping with water.

Warm dry air is pumped into the container and it penetrates into the wash. It is also pumped out when it is full of moisture. By this action, the water content reduces gradually until eventually the clothes are dry and ready for ironing and wearing. Moist air extracted from the clothes is passed into a chamber where moisture turns back to water and soap is separated from liquid water and reused.

Modern machines also have buttons which are used to set the variables involved in machine washing. One of them controls the water temperature. Another one could control the washing time. There could still be one more for stopping the cleaning abruptly. These are some of the controls to be found. Instead of buttons, some machines could have knobs. They still play the same function as buttons. Filters are in place to remove dirt from the dissolving solution. This allows recycling of this solution many times over.

This is how dry cleaning takes place. The different parts are all necessary for the completion of the job. They all have unique roles to play. With this information, dry cleaning will not seem so strange any more.
