The Most detrimental Ingredients in the world!

By Vanessa Summer

There are plenty of food items out there that, even though they taste good, are very very bad for you. While we can identify many of these foods on sight--most of the food you will order at a fast food restaurant, for example, is quite enjoyable to eat but will do terrible things to your body and is made of far too many calories to even be considered healthy. But why don't you consider the foods that appear to be a perfectly acceptable thing to eat? What about a lot of the food items you give your kids? In this article we will be looking at some of the absolute worst type of foods that you could ever feed to yourself or other people in your family.

Macaroni and cheese, contrary to popular belief, is among the worst things that you can order. The sort you create at home by yourself using the boxes of Kraft or Annie's should be mostly okay but most of the time the macaroni and cheese you order from restaurants is not. To employ one critical example: the macaroni and cheese dinner for kids from the California Pizza Kitchen is incredibly unhealthy. This just one plate contains over a thousand calories, over sixteen hundred milligrams of sodium and nearly forty grams of saturated fat! This isn't even remotely wholesome.

How often do you buy those frozen pot pies from your grocery store's freezer section? On the surface these appear to be good, healthy last minute dinners or lunches but the fact is that most of them are loaded with extra calories. The pot pies created by Stouffer's, as an example, are full of just about eighteen hundred milligrams of sodium, more than sixty grams of fat and more than eleven hundred calories. If you happen to be on a quest to shed weight, this solitary item could count for almost all of your daily calorie limit.

You are most likely under the impression that if you are going to have something from a sandwich shop, the vegetarian sandwich is your healthiest option, right? The truth is that a result of dressings as well as other condiments that get added to them, they are often just as bad as something loaded with meat. When you order a vegetarian sandwich from Blimpies (as an example), you will be buying nearly twelve hundred calories, sixty grams of fat and more than thirty five hundred milligrams of sodium. Why do individuals imagine that is healthy?

A salad has to be healthful, right? Most of us assume this is true anyway. If we want something that is healthy and fast, most of the time we choose a salad to fill us up with food that is healthy for us. It may well amaze you then to learn that some salads are not all that healthy. The Santa Fe chopped salad from TGI Fridays, for example, weighs in at eighteen hundred calories. This is most likely because the salad is the size of a large dinner plate but think of it: do you want all of your caloric intake for the day to be used up by this one salad?

The truth is that almost all of the food that we buy on the go or in restaurants is simply not going to be as good for us as the food we make ourselves. Sure cooking in your own home can be a pain or feel boring, but if you're watching your weight and trying to stay healthy, it is the best thing you can do for yourself!
