James Malinchak's The Leading 8 Reasons Why People Do Not Make It In Businesses Part 1 Of 5

The leading 8 reasons people don't make it in their businesses is very clear and simple in my opinion. However, it is not based only on opinion, my perceptions are based on years of observation of others, including hundreds of clients who seemingly get in their own way. Therefore, I've decided to outline these 8 reasons so that you, as a reader, can see if one or many of these reasons are what you use to hold yourself back. Maybe by reading them, you will be honest with yourself, and create the change that will make a difference in your future. Hopefully, you'll do the opposite of these and take your business to higher aspirations based on action.

1. They are excuse makers.

Let's face it, people are excuse makers. They could not complete this because of that situation, and they cannot complete that because of this situation. They want to make every excuse under the sun that is to be the reason why they're not making it. However, the only justification they have is that they did not make plans for either situation, and they did not follow through with their actions.

That is the only excuse, and it is NOT an excuse. You do not get excused if you were working in another facility and you did not complete your job. You would be fired. Same thing when you work for yourself. If you cannot complete your obligations, then you should fire yourself. Hire someone else to do what you cannot fulfill or get a job working for someone else as you are not to be an entrepreneur.

An entrepreneur has to be self-motivated. They have to be self-directed, or they have to hire a project manage to help them stay on task. If you recognize yourself in this previous sentence, then put out an ad today to get someone in your business who can run things like a business or face failure. You cannot run a business on excuses, so do something about it and do it now.

2. They are blamers and complainers rather than focusing on themselves.

Look, let me share something with you. Anything that I have created or not created in my life, it is my responsibility. Even if someone else did something to interfere or did not do something like take action, it is still your responsibility. It is your responsibility to oversee your employee, and to make sure things get done on time in a professional manner. Blaming someone else makes you look incompetent and stupid, it does not reflect on the employee!

Frankly, I don't have for excuses. You either do what you say or don't do business with me. The last thing I would like to hear is whining and complaining. I don't have time for it. Sure, crappy stuff happens to everybody, and I'm sorry that those things happened to you, but your actions are your responsibility. Yes, you were wronged, hurt, bothered, and more, but rather than wallowing in that negativity choose to figure out a solution to fix it and take action on the solution instead.
